As part of Porirua City Council’s Mungavin Courts Lighting Upgrade, we partnered with McKay to deliver the civil works supporting the lighting installation.

Our works included trenching, power duct and cable pit installation, construction of reinforced concrete foundations for the new lighting poles, concrete and landscape reinstatement. We also removed existing lighting pole footings and reinstated surrounding grassed areas and court surfaces.

Our scope included:

• Installation of 250m of underground electrical ducting and cable pit installation

• Construction of reinforced concrete foundations for nine new lighting poles

• Trenching, backfilling and pavement reinstatement

• Removal and reinstatement of existing lighting pole footings

• Topsoiling and grass seed reinstatement

The upgraded lighting infrastructure enhances the usability and safety of the Mungavin Netball Courts for players and the wider community. We were pleased to play a part in renewing this valued Porirua sporting facility.
